KG1 – Monosteel knives for serious performance

The KG1 line is hand-forged from 1.2419 tungsten-carbon steel, with careful attention to a forged distal taper for optimal balance and cutting feel.

A precisely controlled heat treatment brings the blades to around 63 HRC – easy to sharpen, with excellent edge retention.

At 240 mm cutting length and 60 mm height, these knives are generously sized and made for professional use.

The titanium bolster is milled and finished with glass bead blasting – sleek, durable, and lightweight.

A subtly complex grind and edge thickness of just 0.1–0.2 mm behind the edge (under 1.2 mm at 10 mm height) ensure perfect cutting performance.
